Popular WWE Superstar supports The Miz's attack on RAW
The Miz unleashed a surprise attack last night on RAW, and a WWE Superstar showed his support today on social media. The A-Lister has seemingly been the target of The Wyatt Sicks in recent weeks on the red brand.
R-Truth and The Miz (Awesome Truth) won the World Tag Team Championship earlier this year at WrestleMania XL. The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh defeated the popular duo to capture the titles on the June 24 edition of RAW. The veteran has since betrayed R-Truth, and the two stars squared off in a singles match last night.
R-Truth picked up the victory, but the former WWE Champion attacked the 52-year-old following the match. The promotion took to Instagram to ask if The Miz's attack on the former 24x7 Champion was awesome or not.
Karrion Kross responded to the question and claimed that the attack on RAW was awesome.
"🔥 AWWWWWWWESOOOOME 🔥," he wrote.
The eight-time Intercontinental Champion betrayed R-Truth on the September 30 edition of RAW. The former champion booted Truth in the head during their tag team match against The Authors of Pain.
The Miz reveals why he attacked R-Truth on WWE RAW
RAW star The Miz recently explained why he attacked R-Truth during last night's show.
Speaking with Jackie Redmond on RAW Talk, the 44-year-old revealed why he attacked his former tag team partner last night. He noted that he didn't know Karrion Kross was going to be ringside for the match, and he shook Truth's hand before the bell. Miz said that after the two shook hands, R-Truth rolled him up to steal the victory.
"And what happened Jackie? I shook his hand he got me? Is that what a good guy does, Jackie? There's someone outside. Did I think Karrion Kross was gonna come out? No! He rolls me up; one, two, three? I shook his hand!" he said.

Karrion Kross spent the past few months trying to break up The New Day's Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston as a duo. It will be interesting to see how R-Truth responds to the attack moving forward on WWE RAW.
