Possibility of shocking name being the mastermind behind Paul Heyman attack is addressed by WWE analyst

WWE analyst Sam Roberts recently discussed a shocking name being the mastermind behind the infamous attack on Paul Heyman a few weeks ago. The new Bloodline didn't even spare Heyman when the WWE Hall of Famer refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief. But did Sikoa orchestrate the whole thing?

Speculation is rife about The Rock secretly working in cahoots with the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline as part of an inevitable program with Roman Reigns. The Head of the Table is expected to be back by SummerSlam, possibly to confront Solo Sikoa, who is all set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts discussed a scenario where Roman Reigns would reveal himself as the leader of the new Bloodline and take full responsibility for the events that happened in his absence. The WWE analyst thought this could happen if WWE planned to book Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns III.

"When Roman comes back unless Roman is like, 'Hey! Thanks, Solo. This is all exactly what I've been saying. I asked Solo to powerbomb Paul Heyman through a table. I asked Solo to bring on the Tongans and Jacob Fatu. Yeah, I told Solo I wasn't coming back. I just decided to come back later. No, no, everything, Solo and I are great.' Unless Roman Reigns is returning at SummerSlam to be like, 'Hey Solo, great job while I was gone,' and Solo's being like, 'Thanks, Roman. Good to see you back. Now. You're The Tribal Chief again.' Then it's about Cody Rhodes," Roberts said.

However, Roberts made it clear that the chances of the aforementioned idea materializing were slim to none, as he believed Reigns feuding with Sikoa was more likely.

"But the likelihood of that happening, I would say is slim. I don't think that's the direction people would expect it to go in. It doesn't really make a ton of sense. I think more than likely what we're looking at is Solo Sikoa having to answer to Roman Reigns for taking over The Bloodline in Romans' absence," he added. (13:37 - 14:25)

What's next for Paul Heyman?

There's no official word on how long Paul Heyman will be off WWE TV. The Wiseman could return alongside Roman Reigns at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Bill Apter said he saw the OG Bloodline and Paul Heyman reuniting very soon.

"Roman Reigns is gonna come back and say, 'Yes I am still your Head of the Table. Your Tribal Chief.' And he, and Heyman, Jey Uso, and maybe Jimmy Uso will come back, will have their own Bloodline affiliation and they will feud with the other guys. With the other Bloodline. That's what I think is gonna happen."

In recent weeks, The Bloodline has taken out Randy Orton and Kevin Owens on SmackDown. The path is clear for The Enforcer. Will he be able to dethrone The American Nightmare? Only time will tell.
