Potential news for 2025 WrestleMania
Following a successful WrestleMania XL several days ago, many WWE fans are interested in knowing where next year's show will occur, as the company hasn't announced anything yet. WWE President Nick Khan has shared that they're looking out for certain things when finding locations for future events.
WrestleMania XL was the biggest event of all time on paper, as everything was up in every metric from the previous year. The show also featured many celebrities, including Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, and IShowSpeed.
During a recent appearance at Sports Business Journal's Congress of Sports in Los Angeles, Nick Khan stated that WWE's biggest events, including WrestleMania, will take place in the United States and Canada for the foreseeable future and will not be made international anytime soon.
He didn't disclose where The Grandest Stage of Them All will be held next year but specified that it won’t be in an outdoor East Coast stadium again. This is due to the cold weather in Philadelphia during the first night of WrestleMania XL. Khan also mentioned that the event wouldn't go head-to-head with the Final Four again. Las Vegas was noted as one of the cities under consideration for hosting The Show of Shows in 2025.
WWE fans in the United Kingdom won't be getting a WrestleMania anytime soon, according to Nick Khan's statement
Last year, Money in the Bank was held in London, and in June, Clash at the Castle will take place in Scotland for the first time.
Although Premium Live Events in the UK have seemingly become an annual thing, WWE fans in the island nation want a WrestleMania, and they've been clamoring for it for many years.
Even John Cena tried to get the higher-ups to give the UK fans what they wanted. However, that won't happen anytime soon, as Nick Khan said the most popular Premium Live Events will be held in North America for the foreseeable future.
