Potential reason why The Bloodline wasn't booked for WWE Bash in Berlin revealed
A potential reason why The Bloodline was not booked for a match at WWE Bash in Berlin has come to light. The heel faction recently captured the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown.
Afa Anoa'i of The Wild Samoans passed away earlier this month at age 81. He was tag team partners with Sika Anoa'i back in the day, who also passed away earlier this year in June. Sika Anoa'i was Roman Reigns' father in real life.
Jey Uso took to his Instagram account today to send a heartfelt goodbye to Afa Anoa'i, and The Bloodline may not have been booked for a match this weekend, so they could attend Afa Anoa'i's funeral. Main Event Jey departed The Bloodline last year and also was not booked for a match at Bash in Berlin today.
Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. Solo Sikoa warned this past Friday night on SmackDown, in a vignette, that he would be coming after whoever held the title following the premium live event.
Sikoa challenged Cody Rhodes for the title at SummerSlam earlier this month but came up short due to Roman Reigns' involvement. The Head of the Table returned from his hiatus during the final moments of the match, and hit Sikoa with a Spear, costing him his opportunity to become champion.
Real-life Bloodline member praises WWE star Paul Heyman
Umaga's son, Zilla Fatu, recently praised Paul Heyman and claimed the Hall of Famer would go down as one of the most brilliant minds in the history of the wrestling business.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor, Bill Apter, earlier this month, Fatu praised The Wiseman and noted that he didn't care what anyone else said about the veteran. Heyman has not appeared on WWE television since he was demolished by The Bloodline on the June 28 edition of SmackDown.
"Well, Heyman's always gonna be our Wiseman. I don't care what nobody says. Paul Heyman's gonna be, when he retires or whatever you guys wanna call it, Paul Heyman's gonna go down as one of the best creative minds in professional wrestling," he said. [4:46 onwards]

The Bloodline beat Roman Reigns down on the August 16 episode of WWE SmackDown. It will be interesting to see when the 39-year-old returns to the blue brand to get revenge on his former Enforcer and his new-look faction.
