Prayers up for Pharaoh; WWE Champion Cody Rhodes shares upsetting picture
The reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently took to social media to share a photo of Pharaoh. The American Nightmare's dog seems to be injured in the pic.
Rhodes has become one of the biggest faces of World Wrestling Entertainment in recent years. Many wrestling fans are familiar with his dog, Pharaoh, as he has been mentioned multiple times on television, even during one of The Rock's promos earlier this year, where he talked trash about The American Nightmare's family member.
Cody Rhodes recently took to his Instagram stories to upload a concerning photo of Pharaoh as he could be seen wearing a dog cone, also known as the Elizabethan Collar. This cone is worn by dogs when they have suffered an injury or if there is an open wound that needs faster healing.

Cody Rhodes sent an emotional message about Pharaoh before WWE SummerSlam 2024
Ahead of this year's WWE SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes took to his Instagram stories to upload photos of Pharaoh and sent an emotional message about his dog.
The American Nightmare revealed that Pharaoh was getting old and he was traveling to work for the last time with him before The Biggest Party of the Summer.
"Pharaoh is 13 now - still thriving but slowing down a bit... I am taking him on his final work road trip. These days he's more comfortable keeping eyes on Libby Curls and hard napping at the house. All the treats (for dogs and humans), and all the love. He's been a constant for me and hands down the most loyal friend. Love ya' buddy!"
Cody Rhodes is currently in a heated feud with Kevin Owens. The former Universal Champion betrayed The American Nightmare after he teamed up with Roman Reigns to face The Bloodline at Bad Blood 2024.
According to several reports, the two former friends could face each other for the Undisputed WWE Championship soon. It will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for their potential clash.
We at Sportskeeda send our prayers to Cody Rhodes' dog, Pharaoh, and wish him a speedy recovery.
