Cargill and Belair successfully defended their Women's Tag Team Championship against Damage CTRL on the October 14 edition of RAW. The popular duo also defeated Meta-Four's Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend on the October 11 episode of SmackDown to retain their titles.

Vince Russo claims recently debuted WWE star will "take away from Jade Cargill"

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently suggested that Lash Legend would take away Jade Cargill's spot on WWE's main roster.

Cargill spent a few years in All Elite Wrestling before departing the promotion to join WWE in 2023. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown show, Russo praised Lash Legend and claimed she was a monster. The veteran suggested Legend could potentially take the spotlight away from Cargill, and compared the 27-year-old to Chyna. Lash Legend picked up an impressive victory over Piper Niven this past Friday night on SmackDown.

"This Lash Legend, bro, she's a monster. We got a monster in Jade Cargill. Why are we having two monsters? My perfect analogy is - Was there two Chynas bro? Was there or was there one Ninth Wonder of the World? Why would you have another monster when Jade Cargill is a monster? Because now as big and impressive as Lash Legend is, that is going to take away from Jade Cargill," said Russo.

Cargill and Belair were not in action at Bad Blood but did serve as the hosts of the Premium Live Event on October 5. The duo defeated The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) at WWE Bash in Berlin to become champions and have held the titles for 50 days so far.
