R-Truth breaks silence after former WWE champion teases heel turn on RAW

WWE Superstar R-Truth was on the receiving end of a betrayal last month when his then-tag team partner, The Miz, attacked him during their ongoing match with the Authors of Pain. The A-lister has instead joined forces with the Karrion Kross-led The Final Testament.

With The Miz recently turning heel, another popular babyface, Xavier Woods, continues to tease his heel turn. On last week's edition of Monday Night RAW, Truth attacked The A-Lister, who was at the ringside with Karrion Kross, supporting the AOP taking on The New Day. The chaos outside the squared circle allowed Kofi Kingston to secure a win for his team.

After winning the match, The Final Testament and The Miz launched an attack on R-Truth after The New Day left the squared circle. Despite Truth helping them advance further in the World Tag Team Championship number-one contenders tournament, Xavier Woods stopped Kofi Kingston from saving the former 24/7 Champion.

Truth recently took to his X/Twitter account to share a video of himself staring at Woods as The New Day member passed by.

Former WWE Champion blames R-Truth for his recent actions

R-Truth is one of the most beloved performers on the WWE roster. However, his former tag team partner, The Miz, recently made huge accusations against the 52-year-old.

During a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, The Miz claimed that he feels he is a good person and has done everything right. He added that Truth had been a heel the whole time, putting him through so much. The former WWE Champion claimed he turned on his former tag team partner to make him realize his mistakes.

"I feel like I'm a good guy. I've done everything right. R-Truth is the one that has been the heel the whole time, in my opinion. You don't believe me? The guy has put me through so much. So much. And then sometimes you just need to turn on someone to make them realize the error in their ways," Miz said. [From 15:56 to 16:13]

The Awesome Truth reunited earlier this year and won the RAW Tag Team Championship in the Six-Pack Ladder match at WWE WrestleMania XL. The titles were later renamed as World Tag Team Championship. The duo held on to the titles for 79 days before losing them to The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
