R-Truth threatens to take away current WWE champion's phone; questions risky update

R-Truth sent a hilarious message to a current champion in WWE following a risky update on social media. The veteran was attacked by Bronson Reed on the August 12 edition of WWE RAW.

RAW star R-Truth took to social media today to send a hilarious message to WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax. The Irresistible Force responded to SmackDown star Naomi claiming her "buns look better" and wondered which buns she was referring to.

The former World Tag Team Champion reacted to Jax's post and jokingly threatened to take away her phone for not being PG.

"I might have to take your phone @LinaFanene… I don’t even know if that’s PG," he wrote.

The 52-year-old and The Miz are known as the popular tag team Awesome Truth, and the duo captured the World Tag Team Championship earlier this year at WrestleMania. However, they were dethroned by The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on the June 24 edition of WWE RAW after Women's World Champion Liv Morgan got involved in the match.

WWE RAW star wants to team up with R-Truth

Damian Priest recently disclosed that he wants to form a tag team with R-Truth down the line.

The Archer of Infamy was betrayed by The Judgment Day at SummerSlam last month. Finn Balor cost his former stablemate the World Heavyweight Championship at the Premium Live Event, and the two stars will square off at Bad Blood on October 5.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, the former World Heavyweight Champion praised the legend for his talent as a performer. Damian Priest added that he will have to form a proper tag team with the veteran someday.

"Ah Ronnie [Killings], that guy. I mean, look, it goes without saying at some point we’re gonna have to team, we’re gonna have to properly. The guy is unbelievable how talented of a performer, actually, I can’t even say he’s a performer that’s him," he said.

R-Truth attempted to join The Judgment Day earlier this year, but the group never accepted him. It will be interesting to see when the veteran returns to action following the attack by Bronson Reed.
