WWE News: Randy Orton on working with The Wyatt Family

Orton has been enjoying being part of The Wyatt Family

In one of the most shocking developments in the WWE of late, Randy Orton joined The Wyatt Family a few weeks back after feuding with them for quite a while. Moreover, at the TLC pay-per-view, The Apex Predator and Bray Wyatt won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship titles by beating the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno.

Orton recently appeared in an interview with Bleacher Report where he discussed his ongoing association with Bray and Luke Harper. He claimed that they were fun to work with and he is enjoying himself now despite being hesitant about it at first. He said:

“Right now, I have a new pep in my step, I feel, because I'm working with guys who are fun to work with. This whole angle with The Wyatt Family, I'm really enjoying it.

At first, I wasn't quite sure, but now that we're in the middle of it and, you know, me and Bray and Luke are tag champs, everything's feeling right. And I get to do what I do best, and that's be a heel”

The 12-time WWE world champion asserted that things have been different every week ever since he has started to work with his new partners. He also praised the young tag team American Alpha for their work and claimed that wrestlers like them are encouraging him to show more heart.

Randy Orton stated:

“Each week is a little different. It's not getting stale. You know, nothing against Sheamus, but it's not working Sheamus every night for six months. You know what I'm saying? Like American Alpha.

I've been working live events with these guys and Kane against me, Luke and Bray. And they're just amazing. They're so smooth. And they've got that heart that you're talking about, and it's making me have a little more heart because I'm in there with guys who feel that way,”

Orton was also questioned about whether there was a chance of him turning on The Wyatt Family in the near future. In response, The Viper said:

“We've never touched, and somewhere down the line, I'm sure that'll happen too. But for right now, you know, for the next long while, I see my future being with them and us dominating SmackDown,”
