Randy Orton reacts to his major WWE announcement after surprise appearance on RAW
WWE Superstar Randy Orton recently took to social media to react to a major announcement for an upcoming show. The Viper also made a surprise appearance on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW.
On the latest episode of the red show, Gunther came out to cut a promo after becoming the World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam. However, everyone in the arena, including The Ring General, was caught by surprise as The Legend Killer made a shocking appearance to confront the Imperium leader.
Randy Orton highlighted how Gunther did not beat him clean at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. The Apex Predator then challenged him to a title match at Bash in Berlin, which the World Heavyweight Champion accepted.
Orton recently took to X/Twitter to react to a major WWE announcement made by Shawn Michaels about the October 8, 2024, episode of NXT, which will take place in St. Louis. The 44-year-old confirmed that he would be making an appearance on the white-and-gold program in his "backyard."
"HBK - If you’re bringing NXT to my backyard, count me in. See you in St. Louis on October 8. #WWE #NXT," Orton wrote.

Another huge RAW star is also set to make an appearance on the white-and-gold brand in October 2024.
Bill Apter believes WWE needs to remind fans what happened between Randy Orton and Gunther in the King of the Ring final
During the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted, Bill Apter said WWE needed to show the footage of how Gunther did not beat Randy Orton clean at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event.
Apter also mentioned that the Orton-Gunther feud did not need a story since The Viper was a credible challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship.
"The angle is going back to the, to that whole match that they had. They're just bringing that back. They think the fans remember it. They're gonna have to, if I am them, next Monday I will show exactly what happened you know on a video of that. But I think Randy Orton is compelling enough as a challenger at this point that they don't really have to have a story more than 'I am gonna become champion again, I am gonna beat you.'"

It will be interesting to see whether Randy Orton will make appearances on RAW instead of SmackDown going forward.
