Randy Orton reacts to weight-change comments following WWE SmackDown

WWE Superstar Randy Orton's health took a toll on him for years as The Viper was often on the road with a hectic schedule. Today, the 14-time World Champion reacted to comments regarding his weight following SmackDown.

Last year, a much healthier and stronger Randy Orton made his glorious return to the Standard-based promotion, as Team Cody Rhodes' fifth member at the annual Survivor Series event in Chicago.

Earlier this week, WWE dropped a video in which The Viper addressed that he's gained healthy weight while recovering from a career-threatening injury and isn't 275 lbs as WWE announces, but was instead 290 lbs. The veteran was flooded with positive comments about his weight change in WWE's new era.

Today after Friday Night SmackDown, Randy Orton reacted to a positive outflow of comments regarding his weight and stated he might have to do a 'public weigh-in' for the fans.

"Comments got me 😝 Looks like I’m doing a ‘public’ weigh in this week smh," Orton wrote.

Randy Orton and two major stars were removed from WWE SmackDown

Last year, The Viper made it his mission to go after The Bloodline after the trio attacked him and Matt Riddle in 2022. The 14-time world champion failed to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship from Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble 2024 but continued to go after the faction.

Earlier this year, Randy Orton locked horns with the new iteration of The Bloodline on Friday Night SmackDown alongside Kevin Owens. After constantly coming up short on different occasions, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes aligned with the duo in Scotland.

Sadly, it wasn't enough to take down Solo Sikoa's The Bloodline, as Sikoa brought in Jacob Fatu as the faction's Enforcer. On a recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Madison Square Garden, all hell broke loose when Orton, Owens, and Rhodes went after the group.

After the opening segment, Nick Aldis ensured the three stars including the Undisputed WWE Champion were removed from the arena. Later, Paul Heyman was decimated by the new group during the 'Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony' after The Wiseman declined Sikoa's demands to acknowledge him as the new Tribal Chief.
