Randy Orton receives a message from Gunther after hitting him with the RKO
Randy Orton caught Gunther with the RKO during this week's Monday Night RAW during their segment. Orton is currently chasing his 15th WWE world title.
At the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Gunther won the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Damian Priest. On the RAW after SummerSlam, the newly crowned champion was interrupted by Orton, who demanded a shot at the world championship. The match was made official for Bash in Berlin.
On this week's RAW, Orton and Gunther once again came face-to-face before being interrupted by Drew McIntyre. The distraction allowed Orton to hit the champion with an RKO.
Taking to social media, The Ring General put his next challenger on notice ahead of their clash in Germany.
"31.8 - Berlin," wrote Gunther.

Sam Roberts believes Randy Orton will go after Cody Rhodes' championship in the future
Sam Roberts believes Randy Orton will fail to win the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther. He predicted The Viper would then shift focus to the Undisputed WWE Championship after Bash in Berlin.
Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts predicted Orton would betray Rhodes and turn heel. He said:
"Maybe Cody Rhodes beats Kevin Owens when they're both friends and then they have one more match at Bad Blood where Kevin Owens is an enemy. And now it's hero Cody Rhodes vs. villain Kevin Owens. And then at the end of that, that's where Randy comes out. Maybe next night, next Friday on SmackDown. Kevin Owens is laying another beatdown on Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton comes out to help Kevin Owens and then boom, RKO out of nowhere on Cody Rhodes. Randy Orton was not successful in winning the World Heavyweight Title, so now it's time to cash in on all those looks that he's been giving Cody's title."
Orton and Gunther will collide at Bash In Berlin. This will be Gunther's first title defense. Meanwhile, Orton would hope to add another WWE world championship to his incredible list of accomplishments in the company.
