Randy Orton staying out till WrestleMania after saying he "can't feel anything" is possible, says Hall of Famer; WWE announced the injury
Randy Orton was hurt and left without being able to "feel anything" during WWE SmackDown this week. Now, a Hall of Famer has talked about whether fans will see him until WrestleMania.
NWA Hall of Famer Bill Apter spoke about it during Smack Talk. On WWE SmackDown, Randy Orton was attacked by Kevin Owens. The two stars started to brawl, but Owens hit a piledriver out of nowhere, landing Orton on his neck. The Viper was in pain and moaning after taking the move. According to the storyline, the officials rushed him out, but the star said he couldn't "feel anything."
WWE later announced he had suffered cervical cord neuropraxia. With the star now put on the shelf, Bill Apter talked about how he would book Orton's return to WWE and change things up. He said it would make sense for Randy to sell the injury for a long time and stay away from the ring. The veteran journalist said that if he were the booker, he would have him out to WrestleMania and make it so that no one saw him until then.
"He would have to be out. If I was the booker, I would have him out until WrestleMania. Nobody sees him." (10:04 - 10:15)
It remains to be seen when Randy Orton returns to the ring.
