Raquel Rodriguez drops major return hint ahead of Bad Blood

Raquel Rodriguez seemingly dropped a major return hint today on social media ahead of WWE Bad Blood. She has been on hiatus from the promotion for several months now.

The 33-year-old has been diagnosed with mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) and has not competed in a match since her victory over Chelsea Green on the February 26 edition of RAW. There have been recent rumors that she could be returning to the ring soon. Ahead of the premium live event, Rodriguez took to her Instagram story to share a photo of herself training, possibly hinting at her return. Raquel Rodriguez comments on Jade Cargill signing with WWE

Raquel Rodriguez recently commented on Jade Cargill signing with the promotion after spending a few years in All Elite Wrestling.

Cargill signed with WWE last year and debuted during the Fastlane 2023 Kickoff Show. The 32-year-old and Bianca Belair are the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions and will be hosting Bad Blood tomorrow night in Atlanta, Georgia.

Speaking on WWE's The Bump last year, Raquel Rodriguez commented on Cargill joining the company. The veteran claimed that she might be squashed by Big Jade, and added that the former AEW TBS Champion added star power to the women's division.

"I think it is great. Like we were talking about, our women's division is growing. We are main-eventing different shows on all the platforms, all the way across. So to get another talent from an outside company to come in, and she's got such a massive following. And she's just adding to the list of big girls that someone has got to squash, probably me. I think it is great. It is great to have this kind of competition in the women's division and have this star power," she said. [From 45:49 - 46:15]

Rodriguez is a former NXT Women's Champion but has never won a singles title on WWE's main roster. Only time will tell when she returns to World Wrestling Entertainment television.
