RAW could have a fitting response after Nick Aldis unveilsĀ WWE Women's United States Title, claims wrestling legend (Exclusive)
Wrestling journalist and Sportskeeda senior editor Bill Apter recently discussed the impact of WWE introducing the Women's United States Championship. The new title was revealed this week on SmackDown.
It was a proud moment for the entire women's division as SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis unveiled the new Women's United States Championship. He mentioned that the title would start a legacy of excellence and opportunity, opening the doors for the women to stand out and take the division to newer highs.
During this week's Smack Talk podcast, Apter felt a Women's Intercontinental Championship could also be introduced sometime down the line. He felt WWE could slowly add another women's title exclusive to the RAW brand. The veteran felt that the new titles could also be a bone of contention between the two general managers arguing over which belt carried more prestige.
"I think if they do that, it'll be next year. I think it would be too much. Although you could have both General Managers saying, 'Oh no, my United States title is more important. My Intercontinental title is more important.' No, I think they are gonna wait a while before they do that." [From 33:55 to 34:18]

During the vignette, Aldis didn't share how and when the inaugural United States Champion would be crowned. He also didn't mention if the title would be exclusive to SmackDown or float between both brands.
It will be interesting to see how WWE addresses these questions in the coming weeks
