Real identity of Kevin Owens' SmackDown partner "Ricky" revealed

Kevin Owens' momentary replacement tag team partner on SmackDown has taken the Internet by storm even though he only appeared for a minute or two. His identity wasn't hard to find, and we have done it.

This week on SmackDown, Kevin Owens was set to have a mystery partner to face the A-Town Down Under duo of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. When he announced his partner, a rock song played, and a bald, pale man in tights came out, leaving Theory and Waller in a laughing fit. Kevin Owens admitted that the man he called "Ricky" wasn't his first choice, but his original tag team partner didn't make it. Once it was revealed that his original partner (Randy Orton) did, in fact, make it - he turned on Ricky and hit him with a Stunner.

Ricky is actually Ricky Gibson, a 19-year veteran of the wrestling business. He wrestles in a tag team known as Midnight Heat, which is a modern-day mash-up of the Rock N'Roll Express and The Midnight Express. His tag team partner is Eddie Pearl.

The Midnight Heat duo are set to take on FTR fka The Revival for their upcoming Prestige Wrestling debut.
