Real-life Bloodline member calls out The Hardy Boyz; challenge accepted
A real-life member of The Bloodline called out former WWE stars The Hardy Boyz for a tag team match, and the challenge was accepted today on social media. Matt and Jeff Hardy currently perform in TNA Wrestling after departing AEW earlier this year.
During a recent interview, Zilla Fatu was asked who he would want to face in a dream match. The 25-year-old initially suggested a Triple Threat Match against Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu but changed his mind during his response. He said he teamed up with Jacob Fatu to battle The Hardy Boyz instead.
"Matter of fact, nah, I'm going to take that back. Let me tag that back, I'm going to do a tag, me and Jacob [Fatu] versus Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy," he said.
Matt Hardy took to his Instagram to respond to Fatu's comments and accepted the challenge.
"We’re here for it! @zillafatu," Matt Hardy wrote.
Matt and Jeff Hardy are the reigning TNA Tag Team Champions. The popular duo captured the titles at Bound for Glory 2024 last month.
The Hardy Boyz discuss potential return to WWE
Matt and Jeff Hardy recently discussed the possibility of returning to WWE before the end of their careers.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor Bill Apter, the legendary tag team discussed a potential return to WWE. Matt Hardy noted that the promotion had been working with TNA and that anything was possible. The veteran added that they had never won the NXT Tag Team Championship, and that was something they were interested in accomplishing.
"In wrestling never say never, and I will say that the NXT Tag Team Title are not on our list of titles that we've won, so we are interested in that. And I think this crossover between NXT and TNA's great. It's exciting, it's unpredictable, and I think that's a positive for the business and the industry." [From 2:10 – 2:26]
