Real-life Bloodline member gives his honest opinion on CM Punk's return at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023

CM Punk shocked the world at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 when he made his highly-anticipated return to the Stamford-based promotion. Recently, Jey Uso gave his honest opinion of The Second City Saint's return in Chicago.

Last year, CM Punk was terminated from his contract at All Elite Wrestling, which opened the door for a return to the Stamford-based promotion. There were many teases and hints at The Second City Saint's return, but no one was sure if the multi-time WWE World Champion would ever come back to the company until it happened.

In a recent video on WWE's YouTube channel, Jey Uso reacted to CM Punk's shocking return to the Stamford-based promotion at the end of last year's Survivor Series: WarGames event. The former Intercontinental Champion stated he was surprised and wasn't aware of his return.

"As a matter of fact, I was out there for that, just witnessing it first hand too. I was kind of like a fan too cause we didn't know... I usually don't get like surprised on stuff like that, but this was definitely one of them," Uso said. (From 33:37 to 34:02)

CM Punk to team up with The OG Bloodline for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024

Earlier this year, CM Punk reunited with Paul Heyman in the Stamford-based promotion when the two were on Friday Night SmackDown. However, Solo Sikoa's Bloodline interrupted the reunion. Eventually, the former manager and client suffered a terrible fate in their respective rivalries, keeping them away from television.

On the recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Paul Heyman made his long-awaited return to The Bloodline saga as The Wiseman to confront Solo Sikoa's Bloodline. However, Heyman didn't return alone, as he brought CM Punk with him as the fifth member of The OG Bloodline.

It'll be interesting to see if The Wiseman's favor will be able to help out Roman Reigns and The OG Bloodline against Solo Sikoa's faction in Canada.
