Real-life Bloodline member reacts to chaotic WWE SmackDown moment seconds before Roman Reigns returned
A real-life member of The Bloodline reacted to a chaotic moment on WWE SmackDown right before Roman Reigns returned after a month-long absence. Lance Anoa'i could not believe what happened on the blue brand's return to the USA Network last Friday.
The first match on SmackDown was Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage match. Rhodes overcame Sikoa to retain his title but Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu entered the cage after the match was over.
Reigns would make his return a month after a brutal assault by The Bloodline. Lance, who is the son of Samu of The Headshrinkers and the grandson of Afa of The Wild Samons, reacted to The Original Tribal Chief's return to save Rhodes and take out the Tongans with the popular side-eyes emoji.
Roman Reigns took out Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa and was about to clash with Jacob Fatu when Solo Sikoa pulled him away. Reigns and Cody Rhodes stared at Fatu and Sikoa as the former rivals were left inside the steel cage.
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes to team up at WWE Bad Blood
To the surprise of many, Cody Rhodes is set to become Roman Reigns' tag team partner at WWE Bad Blood next month in Atlanta, Georgia. Rhodes signed the contract at the end of SmackDown, making their tag team match against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu official.
It will be the first time that Reigns and Rhodes are sharing the ring in a match since their back-to-back WrestleMania main event bouts in 2023 and 2024. It will also be the first time that The Original Tribal Chief and The American Nightmare will face The Samoan Werewolf in an official match.
WWE Bad Blood returns on October 5, at the State Farm Arena. It will be interesting to see how Reigns and Rhodes can co-exist, as well as how their respective allies like The Rock, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton, react to their team-up.
