Real-life Bloodline member reacts to Jacob Fatu's insane performance from WWE SmackDown

A real-life Bloodline member recently took to X/Twitter to share his reaction to Jacob Fatu's memorable performance from the latest edition of WWE SmackDown. The person in question is Lance Anoa'i, who reacted after The Samoan Werewolf impressed one and all with his work on the Friday night show.

Fatu and his Bloodline stablemate, Tama Tonga, entered the six-team Gauntlet Match on SmackDown as the final entrants. Despite a spirited effort by the Street Profits, they eventually fell short after Jacob Fatu and Tonga took them out. The 32-year-old star's performance, in particular, drew considerable praise from fans on social media, with many proclaiming him to be a future main eventer.

Now, a real-life Bloodline member, Lance Anoa'i, has reacted to The Samoan Werewolf's efforts in the Gauntlet Match. While he did not explicitly praise Jacob Fatu, there is no doubt Anoa'i, too, was impressed with his cousin's work.

Rikishi is impressed with Jacob Fatu's work in WWE

On a recent episode of his RIKISHI FATU OFF THE TOP podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi stated that Jacob Fatu was already a refined enough performer who could cover up a botch on live TV. The 58-year-old added that The Samoan Werewolf had not made any blunders yet and believed he had a bright future ahead of him in the company.

"Knock on wood, he hasn't fumbled the ball on any moves, but Jacob is smooth enough that if in case he did mess up a move on live TV or a taping, he's a man with many attitudes so he can definitely get away with it... he looked very, very comfortable, and I'm glad now as he's going through these house shows, which they don't televise and we see a lot of that when wrestlers go out there, it's your way of perfecting your craft and finding it and he's going to find the WWE Universe and the universe is definitely gonna find Jacob," Rikishi said.

Following their win on SmackDown, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga have earned a shot at DIY's WWE Tag Team Championship. The match has been slated for next week's episode of the blue brand, just days ahead of SummerSlam 2024.
