Real-life Bloodline member says Jey Uso is "needed" in Rhea Ripley's story (Exclusive)
Rhea Ripley was forced to vacate the Women's World Championship after a year-long reign in April 2024. Then, she was betrayed by Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam. While Ripley alongside Damian Priest defeated Dirty Dom and Liv Morgan at Bash in Berlin, The Eradicator is not done with The Judgment Day even though she is outnumbered. Enter Jey Uso.
With the odds stacked against her, Afa Anoa'i, Jr. feels Uso is an ideal fit in the ongoing Judgment Day storyline. WWE has teased a romantic angle between the two for quite some time, and it appears it is now being executed on television.
While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Enter The Bloodline, Afa was asked to share his thoughts on the Jey Uso-Rhea Ripley romance. He revealed that he enjoys it and noted how well the former Bloodline member fits into the narrative:
"I love it. I love it. I feel like it's needed. Kind of that, oddball, distraction in the Dom story, so it's needed right now, I feel. And I'm highly entertained by it. I like where it's going," Afa Anoa'i, Jr. said. [From 19:32 to 19:52]
On the latest episode of RAW, Finn Bálor made a startling revelation to Rhea Ripley backstage. It left her visibly upset, but Jey Uso interjected. The two flirted briefly after Bálor left.
Rhea Ripley reveals why she licked Liv Morgan, wanted to taunt Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio turned on Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam by assisting Liv Morgan with a win over The Eradicator and then kissed Morgan.
Rhea Ripley teamed up with Damian Priest to defeat 'Dirty' Dom and Liv Morgan at Bash in Berlin on August 31. Reflecting on her actions on the Women's World Champion during the Mixed Tag Team Match — she licked Morgan's face — Ripley revealed that she needed to do that in order to show Dom that his girlfriend is her's for the taking.
"The one with Liv [Morgan], that was completely spur of the moment. I saw Dom looking at me and I was like, 'She's mine. I just owned your new girl. What are you going to do about it?' [Claiming you property] Yeah," Ripley said.
This past Monday, Ripley taunted Mysterio again with the latter's t-shirt when she wiped it between her legs. However, Liv Morgan pointed to his reaction, saying that The Eradicator got owned.
