Real-life Bloodline member says Jimmy Uso's spot could have been used "to introduce a new cousin" at WWE Bad Blood (Exclusive)

As Roman Reigns was seen saying at WWE Bad Blood, Jimmy Uso 'called the play' and returned to help The Original Tribal Chief. Afa Anoa'i Jr. believes Jimmy's spot could have been instead utilized to debut a new member.

Bad Blood was headlined by a titanic clash as Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns teamed up to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The match, as expected, featured several twists, with Jimmy Uso returning to take out the Tongans at ringside.

While reviewing the latest WWE Premium Live Event for Sportskeeda Wrestling, Afa Anoa'i Jr. (fka Manu) felt the company could have had a "new cousin" in Jimmy Uso's role.

Afa noted that while Jimmy deserved the opportunity and fit the storyline's demands, Bad Blood might have been a missed opportunity for WWE.

He explained:

"I feel like Jimmy's return could have been any cousin. Not to take anything away from Jimmy or anything like that because it was deserved and it was right. But I feel like that could have been a new cousin introduced into the game at the spot, you know what I mean? There are so many different ways to introduce the Samoans where it makes sense."

"It's a shoot, there are a million of us" - Former WWE star Afa Anoa'i Jr. on his family

Solo Sikoa's main roster debut happened in a similar setting when he showed up at Clash at the Castle years ago and stopped Drew McIntyre from defeating Roman Reigns. Since his character change, Sikoa has himself brought in fresh faces in a new-look Bloodline, and as things stand, they still consider him the real Tribal Chief.

It has been said that the Anoa'i family has an unending supply of pro wrestlers, and Afa Anoa'i Jr. revealed that the notion was genuine. The WWE Universe might have already seen many personalities from the family, but there are still more who've not been in the spotlight.

Afa added:

"It's a swerve; I mean, it's like one of those things. You've got to leave everybody guessing, right? You can't make it so obvious, and the good thing about our family is, you know, it's a shoot. There are a million of us [laughs]. We can come from any direction. You never know who, you know?"
