Real-life Bloodline member shares scary picture of Money in the Bank injury; top WWE star still recovering
A real-life member of The Bloodline is still recovering from an injury suffered at WWE Money in the Bank. Naomi, who competed in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match shared an image of her injury on social media.
The two-time SmackDown Women's Champion is married to Jimmy Uso in real life, so she's a member of The Bloodline Samoan dynasty family tree. She was one of six contestants in the women's MITB ladder match and took a nasty bump that caused a bruise on her leg.
It has been two weeks since the injury but Naomi still has some bruising on her leg and she shared an image on her official Instagram stories.
"I don't bruise easily...tell me why I'm still bruised from #mitb," Naomi wrote.
Despite the minor injury, Naomi was already back in action on WWE SmackDown last Friday. She took on Blair Davenport in singles action and emerged victorious after hitting a Full Nelson Bomb.
After the match, Davenport congratulated Naomi on her win and went to shake her hand. But it was all a ruse since the former NXT UK star attacked her rival from behind and laughed at her dirty work.
Blair Davenport sends a message to Naomi after WWE SmackDown
It seems like the rivalry between Blair Davenport and Naomi is just heating up after what transpired on WWE SmackDown last week. Following Davenport's attack, she told Byron Saxton on SmackDown LowDown that she found some backup to help in her feud with Naomi and possibly Bayley, Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill.
"Naomi may have gotten the win over me tonight, but one thing she is going to find out is that I say when things are over, especially around here. And yes, I'm more than aware that she has all her little buddies backstage. Everyone loves Naomi, don't they? But maybe I've made a few friends myself," Davenport said.
Davenport has attacked WWE Women's Champion Bayley before, so there are a lot of possibilities for the star to challenge Bayley in the near future. It will also be interesting if the 28-year-old star can back up her talk ahead of Friday's episode of SmackDown.
