Real-life Bloodline member wants to be a part of the Cody Rhodes-Roman Reigns storyline (Exclusive)
A Bloodline family member wants to be a part of the storyline involving Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. The name in question, Afa Anoa'i Jr., is The American Nightmare's former stablemate.
The 39-year-old wrestled for WWE under the ring name Manu before his release in 2009. Apart from being a member of the Bloodline family, he has some history with Cody Rhodes. He was part of the heel faction Legacy, which featured the current Universal Champion, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase Jr, and Sim Snuka.
During Sportskeeda Wrestling's Exclusive SummerSlam Preview Show, the former Manu was asked if there were any matches he would have wished to be part of if he were on the current WWE roster. In response, Afa said that he would insert himself in the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, considering his history with the latter. He also pointed out that he had been on the bench despite having wrestled longer than the members of The Bloodline.
"If I was on the current roster, yeah, I think I would insert myself into the middle of Roman [Reigns] and Cody [Rhodes]. Yeah, just because of my history with Cody being on the legacy and the fact that, yeah, I'm in the Bloodline. I've been wrestling longer than all of them [laughs]. And I've been sitting on the bench. So, there could be little bad blood there. So, you know, I have always written myself in as the mystery wildcard," he said. [From 43:03 to 43:43]

Cody Rhodes continues to fight The Bloodline despite Roman Reigns' absence
Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL to become the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. The former Shield member has been absent from television since. However, amid his absence, Solo Sikoa has taken over leadership of the Samoan faction.
The 31-year-old attacked and kicked Jimmy Uso out of the faction and added Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu instead. The former Enforcer of The Bloodline attacked Paul Heyman when The Wiseman refused to acknowledge Solo as the new Tribal Chief.
Despite his different approach compared to Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa has continued The Bloodline's feud with The American Nightmare. He not only competed but also pinned the champion in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event to set up a title bout at SummerSlam.
It remains to be seen if Rhodes can withstand Solo's challenge amid speculations of Roman Reigns' potential return at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
