Recently banned star gatecrashes WWE show; restrained by security

The WWE security personnel are having a tough time managing rogue pro wrestlers. Several superstars have tried taking matters into their own hands and attacked their opponents on the Stamford-based promotion. A recently banned star tried to gatecrash his way back in to launch an attack but was successfully restrained.

Oro Mensah tried to come into the ring to take on the new NXT Champion, Ethan Page. The newly crowned champ made his way to the ring to address the crowd after acquiring the NXT Championship. Fortunately for him, WWE security prevented Mensah from cutting his victory celebration short.

Notably, Page thanked the NXT General Manager Ava for banning Oro from the Heatwave PLE, which enabled All Ego to secure the title. The new champion was at the right place and time to win the title with a lucky stroke. However, that wouldn’t have been the case if the Meta-Four member had interfered in the no-disqualification Fatal Four-Way match.

Notably, Oro Mensah wants to exact revenge on Ethan Page for severely injuring his teammate Noam Dar. As a result, the latter is indefinitely out of action, which the star revealed via a virtual appearance on WWE NXT a few weeks ago.

It would be interesting to see if this rivalry between Page and Mensah turns into a potential NXT Championship rivalry.
