Recently released star's name appears on WWE TV in huge botch

The name of a performer released by WWE a few weeks back accidentally popped up on its programming recently. The said name is Valentina Feroz, whose name appeared during one of the segments on this week's NXT.

Feroz, who joined WWE in 2023, was among the many names who departed the Stamford-based promotion earlier this month. The 28-year-old performer was absent from action for a long time, with her last match coming against Amari Miller back in December 2023 on NXT Level Up.

However, in an unexpected turn of events, Valentina Feroz's name appeared on the latest episode of the Wednesday Night Show, thanks to a botch. During a backstage segment featuring Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, the production team accidentally showed Feroz's name instead of that of Legend and Jackson. Jakara Jackson even reacted to this blunder.

"Umm. Graphic look a lil off …. The audacity…on our 1 year Meta-versary too…is wilddd#wwenxt," tweeted Jakara Jackson.

WWE NXT turned out to be an extremely newsworthy show this week

While NXT is one of the most consistently entertaining wrestling shows on TV, it had some major surprises this week that stunned everyone. Ethan Page, who left AEW only a few weeks back, showed up to take out NXT Champion Trick Williams, instantly establishing himself as a top contender for the gold on the show.

If that wasn't enough, the episode also had a surprise appearance by TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, who was confirmed to challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Title at Battleground 2024. Considering there were no rumors of either Grace or Page appearing on NXT, their appearances took everyone by surprise and created a furor on social media.

It now remains to be seen how the two fare on the brand in the coming weeks and if it results in Grace striking a full-time deal with the Stamford-based promotion.
