Recently-signed WWE legend returning after 12 years to join The Bloodline is possible, says analyst
Several weeks ago on WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline took out Paul Heyman. A WWE analyst recently discussed the possibility of a recently-signed legend becoming the new voice of the faction.
The legend in question is Armando Estrada. The 45-year-old had two runs in the Stamford-based company. During his first stint, he managed Umaga and served as General Manager for ECW before getting released in 2008. Meanwhile, he briefly managed Tyson Kidd in his second run, which ended with his release in 2012. The Chicago native also managed Jacob Fatu outside of WWE.
A few hours ago, Estrada announced that he had signed a Legends contract with the Stamford-based company. On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts commented on a fan's suggestion of having Estrada become the voice of the new Bloodline. The 41-year-old claimed it is possible. However, he pointed out that the faction may not need a mouthpiece:
"Well, Carson, It's not a bad thought. They said Armando Estrada recently signed a Legends deal. So, he's back in the fold. I think the fact that he was with Umaga is a connection. But I also don't know that they need a Paul Heyman. I don't know if they need a Wiseman. I think that Solo has been the mouthpiece of that group since April," he said.
Roberts pointed out that Estrada spoke for Umaga because the latter's character did not speak. Meanwhile, Sikoa's persona speaks and hence, the group may not need Estrada's efforts:
"Like Armando spoke for Umaga because Umaga, which is a beast who didn't speak, he's just grunted. Solo speaks. So, I think that the thing about Paul Heyman is that his reputation is that of somebody who is a real power player and difference-maker. Paul Heyman will give you the secrets, the advice, the this, the that. So, I'm not saying I'd be against Armando Estrada but it would be a different thing and I don't know if you need to add that." The Bloodline will face Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at WWE Bad Blood
Solo Sikoa has taken over The Bloodline since Roman Reigns' defeat to Cody Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania XL. However, Reigns has returned to exact revenge on his cousin and his associates.
The Original Tribal Chief will now team up with his former rival, The American Nightmare, to square off against Sikoa and his personal enforcer Jacob Fatu in a tag team match at WWE Bad Blood.
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts addressed a few potential finishes for the anticipated match, including Reigns turning on his tag team partner to side with Sikoa's Bloodline.
