Record-breaking WWE champion reacts to The Bloodline suffering a title loss

This week’s episode of SmackDown saw The Bloodline suffer a terrible blow. While Solo Sikoa envisioned collecting all the WWE championship belts in his stable, the heel faction lost their only gold. Afterward, this loss resulted in record-breaking champion Xavier Woods sending a shocking reaction.

The New Day member holds the record for the most number of WWE Tag Team Championship wins, with 11 title reigns in his bag. However, he was shocked to see the tag titles slip from the shoulders of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa this week, especially when The Tongan Brothers lost to the newly debuted team, The Motor City Machine Guns.

Responding to WWE’s tweet celebrating this win, Xavier Woods sent a GIF of himself on X, showing a shocked and excited reaction.

While the newcomers' title win is overwhelming on its own, what's shocking is that the MCMG wasn't fighting at its 100% after already defeating DIY in an action-packed match. Moreover, the heel faction lost the titles because of a fatal mistake made by Solo Sikoa.

The Bloodline lost a winning gamble

On SmackDown, Solo Sikoa and his crew visited Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin when they defeated DIY to become the top contenders for the tag titles. Solo’s provocation against MCMG resulted in them saying they could win the titles right then if given the chance.

Smelling an easy opportunity to nullify their number-one contender spot’s value, Solo agreed, and The Tongans took on an exhausted but sharp MCMG. While this was a winning gamble for The Bloodline, they didn't expect Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso to interfere in the match.

Jimmy and the OTC prevented Sikoa and Jacob Fatu from interfering in the match, instantly cutting down the number's advantage. Coupled with this, Jey Uso also showed up to avenge the loss of his Intercontinental Championship on this week's RAW.

A chair shot to the back of Tama Tonga by The Yeet Master, combined with the double team attack of Shelley and Sabin, gave the fans their new Tag Team Champions.

With this, The Bloodline hasn’t just lost their prestigious gold but will also have to face a united Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for Solo’s Bloodline, with The OTC gaining The Usos back on his side.
