Reigning WWE champion takes hilarious shot at CM Punk
CM Punk made a massive appearance on the latest episode of WWE NXT. Following the Tuesday Night show, the reigning NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez taunted The Best in the World.
The Voice of the Voiceless made his presence felt on the September 17, 2024 installment of the white-and-gold brand. He praised the brand for its commitment to nurturing young talent. While discussing this, the former WWE Champion was unexpectedly interrupted by Roxanne Perez.
With a playful tone, The Prodigy confessed that she was more of a fan of Punk's wife, AJ Lee. The 22-year-old champion also expressed her wish to be a Drew McIntyre fan, which likely didn't sit well with The Second City Saint.
On X [FKA Twitter], Roxanne Perez took a jab at the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion implying that he was starstruck to be in the ring with her. The Prodigy boasted about fulfilling people's dreams, likely referring to CM Punk's potential desire to be in the ring with a rising star.

Wrestling veteran makes a personal request to CM Punk ahead of his big match at WWE Bad Blood
The Second City Saint is set to face Drew McIntyre for the third time at the upcoming Bad Blood PLE in a brutal Hell in a Cell match.
During a recent Q&A with Wrestlevotes, Bill Apter revealed that he wrote a personal letter to the former WWE Champion in his newsletter this week. The veteran journalist urged him to reconsider his decision to participate in a Hell in a Cell match, fearing that CM Punk might make a risky move due to his competitive nature.
"In my newsletter this week, I wrote a personal letter to CM Punk. I even called him Phil. The open letter is that everybody knows these days, I never would've said this 10 years ago that wrestling is athletic performance. But that doesn't mean you don't get hurt." He continued, "CM Punk to agree to agree, after all these injuries and that he's been out and his body has got to be aching. For him to agree to a Hell in A Cell match, I hope he's not gonna be a punk and try and do something stupid there," Apter said.

It remains to be seen if the rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will be put to bed after the WWE Bad Blood Premium Live Event.
