Released WWE duo claims it’s been the “best year of our lives”

A former WWE Superstar has claimed that she and her real-life partner have had the best year of their life. The name in question is Emma (aka Tenille Dashwood).

The 35-year-old married Michael Rallis (fka Riddick Moss) earlier this year. The duo started dating during their time in WWE. Unfortunately, both Moss and Emma were released from the Stamford-based company on September 21, 2023. The couple also announced their pregnancy earlier this year.

Emma recently took to her Instagram account to talk about everything they did over the past year, claiming it was the best year of their life, while jokingly thanking WWE for releasing them. The former IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champion said one must embrace change instead of being scared:

"It was the best year of our lives! Got married🤵🏻‍♂️👰🏻‍♀️ Filmed a TV show for @primevideo 🎬 Launched our own businesses 💼Traveled the world 🌏Fiji 🇫🇯 Finland 🇫🇮 Hawaii 🌺Great Barrier Reef 🪸 Norway 🇳🇴 Greece 🇬🇷 Taiwan 🇹🇼 Alaska 🏔️ And best of all… We’re having a baby! 👶🏻 And none of it would’ve been possible without getting fired, so thanks guys 😜Change and uncertainty can be intimidating, but it can also lead to the most rewarding outcomes of your life. So don’t be scared when it comes; embrace it!" she wrote.

Riddick Moss opens up about WWE's scrapped plans for him

Riddick Moss was allegedly set to turn heel following his massive win over Rey Mysterio. However, the plan was dropped the very next week.

During a conversation with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, the former 24/7 Champion recalled how he was expected to show heel tendencies during his match with Rey Mysterio. However, he was presented as a babyface against Gunther the following week:

"I pinned Rey Mysterio, top rope elbow drop, first time, last time I've ever done it. [...] The idea was, like, you kind of show some tendencies of being a heel, so, like, you're going to steal this one, but then I stole it with like an Elbow Drop. Then, some of the directions from certain people were like, 'Well, we don't want him booed out of the building.' And it was just very confusing, and then the next week, I was like, 'Am I showing signs of a heel against Gunther?'' And they are like, 'No, he's the heel, so like, you're just full-on babyface.' And then it kind of just like trailed off, and we didn't hear much about it," he said. [From 48:18 - 48:52]

With the couple having the time of their lives, it remains to be seen if they will make a return to WWE.
