Released WWE star gets into bar fight; three men left on the floor
A released WWE star has gotten into a bar fight in a video that has been posted online.
Xyon Quinn was one of the stars released by WWE last week. His release was reported after Jinder Mahal and Xia Li announced they had parted ways with the company. While he would not immediately confirm the reports, he finally did so with a post, saying "90 Days," which is the usual length of a non-compete clause that stars have to serve after their release. He also talked about being more unhinged and talking about a big comeback.
However, besides sharing his old videos on Instagram, he had not made a statement about anything.
Xyon Quinn has now shared a video of himself in a filmed bar fight. He entered the bar, and then after one of the men there accidentally spilled the drink on him, he pretended it was fine, but then proceeded to beat him and his friends up.
It seems to be a tease at a new character - one more unhinged than his previous self. With 90 days to wait, there's still some time before he can wrestle elsewhere or show up at any other promotion. Fans commenting on the video also seemed interested in what changes the star was bringing to his character.
Fans can watch the video below.
Xyon Quinn was inactive on the WWE roster before his release
Quinn didn't have the most active last year in WWE. After being called up in the 2023 draft, he was declared a free agent. He then appeared in the Battle Royal to decide Gunther's Intercontinental title in May 2023.
Earlier this year, he would lose to Bron Breakker in a six-second squash match on March 1, 2024. With no other matches in all his time on the main roster, the star was mostly inactive. He was released on April 19, 2024.
