Released WWE Superstar shares emotional message; unveils timeline

A released WWE Superstar has opened up about his departure from the company and has unveiled a timeline for plans moving forward.

WWE let go of several talents this week including Cameron Grimes, Xia Li, and Indus Sher. The most notable name who was released was Jinder Mahal. The veteran defeated Randy Orton at Backlash 2017 to become WWE Champion and battled Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship earlier this year.

Mahal released a video today on his social media to discuss his release from the company. He thanked everyone who reached out to him after he was let go and everyone he worked with in the promotion.

"Twelve years, two runs. I got to see and do so many amazing things, so many dream matches, traveled the world, got to do things that I never thought I'd be able to accomplish, championships, being in a rock band, it's been an amazing journey," he said. [From 00:26 - 00:47]

Mahal then discussed what was next for him and talked about his goals and aspirations. He also claimed that he would only present himself in a way that he wanted to.

"I will only present myself in a way that I want to. I will only do things that I want to. I will only go places that I want to. I still have many goals, many dream matches, many places I want to go. Where do I make an impact? India, Europe, Japan, Canada, Red Hook section of Brooklyn, stay tuned. You got about 11 more weeks, Maharaja out," he said. [From 01:04 - 01:45]

WWE star sends heartfelt message to Jinder Mahal

Chelsea Green has delivered a heartwarming message to Jinder Mahal after his release by the Stamford-based promotion.

The former Women's Tag Team Champion took to her official X (formerly Twitter) account last week to break character and sent a message to Mahal. Green noted that she was friends with the veteran and wished him luck moving forward. She shared an image with Mahal as well and you can check it out in her post below.

"From Canadian indies ➪ breaking my collarbone in India ➪ every city imaginable with WWE… there’s no better person to do it alongside. @JinderMahal I’d say ‘Goodluck’… but you don’t need it, Comeback King 🇨🇦♥️🙌🏼," she wrote.

AEW president Tony Khan mocked WWE earlier this year for giving Jinder Mahal a title shot. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the 37-year-old in the world of professional wrestling.
