Returning superstar destroys Roman Reigns on SmackDown
Roman Reigns was present on SmackDown this week to confront Solo Sikoa, who told Tama Tonga that if he wears the Ula Fala, both he and Tama would have to acknowledge Roman as The Tribal Chief. A returning superstar decimated the OTC on SmackDown in a big moment.
SmackDown was arguably not at its best this week, although The Street Profits and DIY tore it up with their number-one contender's match. The main event was always the focus as Roman Reigns was advertised for SmackDown.
While Roman Reigns managed to get the better of Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga (with Tonga Loa noticeably absent) and even wore the Ula Fala, it lasted for all but three seconds as Jacob Fatu returned from injury to take out The OTC. He would decimate him, leading to Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Fatu sending Reigns through the announcer's table with a powerbomb. This was the first time Jacob Fatu was on WWE programming since SummerSlam.
It was an intense segment where The OTC couldn't do anything about the onslaught. Jacob Fatu has proven to be a force to be reckoned with, and many fans consider him more than just a regular enforcer.
He showed that on SmackDown when he destroyed Reigns and helped Solo Sikoa wear the Ula Fala again.
It was also noticeable in the segment how Tama Tonga stared at the Ula Fala himself for a second too long. He did the same last week.
