Rey Mysterio breaks silence after major non-WWE appearance; pictured with former Universal Champion
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio recently took to social media to break his silence after a major appearance outside the Stamford-based promotion. The Master of 619 was spotted with former Universal Champion Braun Strowman.
Both Rey Mysterio and Braun Strowman are currently absent from WWE television. The LWO leader has not been seen since his match against Xavier Woods, which ended controversially after Woods removed the Hall of Famer's mask. On the other hand, Strowman is on a hiatus due to an injury he suffered during his clash against Bronson Reed.
The RAW Superstars were recently spotted together at the NASCAR South Point 400 event in Las Vegas. Following this appearance, Rey Mysterio took to Instagram to share a video package of the event with his voiceover. In his post's caption, The Master of 619 thanked NASCAR for the opportunity.
"Thank you @nascar🟨🟥🟦◻️◼️@nbcsports," he wrote.

WWE legend Bret Hart says he would love to face Rey Mysterio
During a recent interview on The Wrestling Classic, WWE legend Bret Hart said that if he would ever return to the ring for one last match, he would want to face Rey Mysterio.
Hart also mentioned that he believed Mysterio was one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and nobody could do what The Master of 619 does inside the ring.
"If I could pick one guy, it would be Rey Mysterio. I always forget Rey Mysterio, but I think Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Like, he’s right up there as the best there is, best there was, best there ever will be. He’s really good. He’s really special. Nobody can do what Rey Mysterio does,"
Many fans believe Rey Mysterio might return to WWE television on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW and confront Xavier Woods for the controversial ending to their match. It will be interesting to see if the LWO leader will show up on the upcoming episode of the red brand.
