Rey Mysterio points out what makes WWE fans hate Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio is arguably the most hated heel on the WWE roster. Wrestling fans can not stop booing whenever he comes out or tries to cut a promo. The Judgment Day member's father, Rey Mysterio, recently revealed what he believes the fans hate about the 27-year-old.
At the Clash at the Castle 2022, "Dirty" Dom betrayed his father, who also happens to be one of the most beloved babyfaces in WWE, and turned heel. He later joined The Judgment Day, and the heat from the fans began increasing with every appearance.
Speaking on a recent edition of Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg, Rey Mysterio claimed that most of the dislike for the younger Mysterio was due to his disdain for his father. However, the WWE Hall of Famer added that fans currently hate Dominik because of his mustache. Rey revealed that he also disliked his son's mustache.
"It was definitely a triggering point at a certain part of his career or his turn, but then after that, I think now it’s mainly based on the mustache," Rey Mysterio said. "I think the mustache is really what the fans hate. I mean, I hate it. It’s gotta be the mustache. Not so much the hatred that he has on his father. It’s the mustache." [H/T: Wrestle Zone]

Dominik Mysterio believes Rey Mysterio does not deserve to be in the WWE Hall of Fame
Rey Mysterio was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023. During the veteran's HOF induction, his son, Dominik Mysterio, walked out of the arena.
During a recent appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Dominik Mysterio revealed the real reason behind the walkout. The former NXT North American Champion fired shots at Rey, claiming he believed his father did not deserve the honor.
"I haven't really talked to him, but I'm sure he's not too happy about it. [He's in the Hall of Fame] After what, 30 years? Took him long enough. I still don't think he was worthy of it. [The walkout] It was necessary, yeah, now that you bring it up, I do remember walking out, yeah, I think it was because I felt some type of way. I don't believe he deserved to be in the Hall of Fame, at least not yet. Once he loses to me and gives, gives up his mask and stuff, then maybe, but I have no say in it," Dominik Mysterio said.
