Rhea Ripley breaks silence following shocking betrayal at WWE SummerSlam
Rhea Ripley broke her silence today on social media after she was betrayed last night during WWE SummerSlam. The Judgment Day member battled Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship in the opening match last night at the premium live event.
Dominik Mysterio was ringside for the title match and made a stunning decision. The former North American Champion distracted the referee so that Liv Morgan could set up a chair in the ring. The 30-year-old planted Ripley with Oblivion on top of the chair for the pinfall victory and retained the title. After the match, Morgan and Mysterio shared a kiss on the entrance ramp while Ripley was left heartbroken in the ring.

Dominik Mysterio was not the only member of The Judgment Day who betrayed their stablemate last night. Finn Balor helped Gunther emerge victorious and capture the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest at WWE SummerSlam as well.

Wrestling veteran, Kenny Bolin believes Dominik Mysterio is now a heel for life in WWE after his decision to betray Rhea Ripley.
During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Bolin praised Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan as heels. He added that there was no going back for Mysterio following his decision at WWE SummerSlam, and he will likely be portraying a heel for the rest of his career. Bolin also claimed that fans prefer Ripley as a babyface and got what they wanted last night.
"I love Liv Morgan. Liv is an amazing heel, and obviously Dom, I don't think you can ever turn Dom babyface. And it looks like the fans want Rhea to be babyface. It looks like it's what they want," he stated. [From 8:33 onwards]
