Rhea Ripley continues to hint at romance with popular WWE star
Rhea Ripley continued to hint at a potential romance with a popular WWE Superstar today on social media. The former Women's World Champion teamed up with Damian Priest to defeat Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan last Saturday at WWE Bash in Berlin.
Jey Uso has made it known that he is a fan of Ripley, and it appears that The Eradicator is interested in him too. Priest and Uso defeated The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in this past Monday's main event on the red brand.
Rhea Ripley celebrated with the duo after the match and did Jey Uso's famous "Yeet!" chant. The 27-year-old took to her X (fka Twitter) account today to retweet fan art of herself licking the former Bloodline member, and you can check out the post by clicking here.
Jey Uso will be competing in a Fatal Four-Way Match next Monday on WWE RAW against Ilja Dragunov, Pete Dunne, and Braun Strowman to determine Bron Breakker's next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship.
Former WWE writer criticizes Rhea Ripley's booking on RAW
Wrestling veteran, Vince Russo, was not a fan of Rhea Ripley being booked in an injury angle this past Monday night on WWE RAW.
Dominik Mysterio confronted The Eradicator in the opening segment of this week's edition of the red brand. However, Dirty Dom was setting a trap to allow Liv Morgan to attack Ripley from behind. Mami's foot got caught in the ropes during the attack, and the Women's World Champion stomped on it several times before Damian Priest ran out to break up the attack.
Speaking on this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo questioned the decision to book Ripley in an injury angle. He noted that the company wanted to portray her as a beast, and it was counterproductive to show her needing medical attention on television.
"You want to talk about shoddy freaking booking. Rhea Ripley is supposed to be this beast who needs medical attention because her foot got caught in the ropes? How many times did you Chyna get medical attention fighting guys. And again, this isn't on Rhea Ripley. This is on the creative. So you're painting the picture of big bad Rhea Ripley and she needs medical attention and she's on a crutch because she got her ankle caught in the ropes," said Russo. [23:19 onwards]

Ripley and Mysterio were involved in a storyline relationship until last month. Mysterio betrayed Ripley at WWE SummerSlam and helped Morgan retain the Women's World Championship.
