Rhea Ripley discussed for major WWE intergender match (Exclusive)

Former Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley has been fighting against the odds on WWE RAW lately. Though she had a bit of help from Jey Uso and Damian Priest for some time before Bad Blood 2024, Mami is now on her own, with Liv Morgan having a new ally in Raquel Rodriguez.

While Morgan and Ripley have been battling it out for months now, the most important piece in the puzzle is Dominik Mysterio. Dirty Dom is the major reason things have gone so far between the two women and The Eradicator has been trying to get her hands on him for a long time now. The WWE Universe is now anticipating an intergender match between Rhea and Dominik to make things more interesting.

According to WrestleVotes on a live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, an intergender match between Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio has been discussed internally. Not only that but it was also reported that some people in the creative team want to make the match happen before the opportunity runs away.

"I know it’s been brought up. Unfortunately, I don’t know how high it has made it. There’s a real desire on some level of creative to do this match before the angle phases out," WrestleVotes reported.

WWE has been featuring Rhea attacking Dominik on television very regularly lately. This could be a tease to a massive storyline developing between them.

While an intergender match returning to the card seems very interesting, it is still uncertain if the match will officially happen. Fans will have to wait and see what the Stamford-based company has in store for Mami and Dirty Dom moving forward.
