Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, & Liv Morgan's angle could end in a surprise, says ex-WWE host, for major booking reason
Rhea Ripley returned to WWE RAW last week after several months of absence. Since then, Dominik Mysterio has been trying to fix his relationship with her. Nevertheless, a former WWE host thinks the ex-NXT North American Champion will dump The Eradicator for a significant reason.
Liv Morgan has been adamant about stealing Dirty Dom from Ripley. While she tried to seduce the 27-year-old in The Eradicator's absence, Rey Mysterio's son has been trying to resist her advances. Last Monday on RAW, Morgan continued playing her games during Dominik's match against Jey Uso. However, the Women's World Champion fled when Ripley rushed to ringside.
Although the Australian star later told her on-screen boyfriend he was "hers," former RAW Talk host Matt Camp claimed their relationship would have a surprise ending.
On his The Wrestling Matt podcast, Camp pointed out that although The Eradicator might still be internally listed as a heel, she is receiving a babyface reaction from the crowd.
"They have that internal roster. I'm not saying it's an end-all-be-all, but it exists. It still may have Rhea and Liv both under the 'heel females' right now. That very well could be a thing. You listen to the crowd, you know that Rhea is being presented as a babyface even if she's still with Judgment Day. If she talks down to Dom, if she checks him, Dom's the most hated person in wrestling arguably, so she's gonna be a babyface off of that," he said.
The former host stated that Dominik and Ripley cannot be together while she is a babyface and he is a heel. He suggested that the ex-NXT North American Champion be the one that dumps The Eradicator for Morgan:
"Dom is a heel until further notice. And I don't see any reason to change that. To me, he might be a lifetime heel now. He has to end up with Liv. You can't tell me that Rhea's gonna come back and end up with Dom cuz then she's not a babyface and I think there's a big babyface run in her, especially with Becky gone. (...) Rhea is gonna be a babyface. Dom should end up with Liv. (...) He can keep trying to fight to get her back, 'I never wanted Liv.' And at some point, he's gonna go, 'You know what? I don't need you. I'm with the champ. I'm with Liv Morgan. She actually cares about me.'" [10:53 - 13:07]
Liv Morgan will defend her championship against Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam
After Rhea Ripley suffered an injury at Liv Morgan's hands, she had to relinquish the Women's World Championship. While Becky Lynch later captured the vacant title, she dropped it to Liv Morgan at WWE King and Queen of the Ring following interference from Dominik Mysterio, who seemingly mistakenly helped the 30-year-old dethrone The Man.
Last Monday, The Eradicator kicked off Monday Night RAW to challenge Morgan for the Women's World Championship at SummerSlam. The match was made official after the 30-year-old accepted. The two WWE Superstars last went head-to-head in a singles match over a year ago on SmackDown. The fight ended in victory for the Judgment Day member via submission.
Dominik Mysterio's interference has helped Liv Morgan win and retain the Women's World Championship on multiple occasions. It would be interesting to see if that happens again at WWE SummerSlam when she squares off against his Mami.
