Rhea Ripley should face unexpected star instead of Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam, says veteran
Following Rhea Ripley's return to RAW last Monday, the WWE Universe expects to see her go head-to-head against Liv Morgan at SummerSlam. However, a wrestling veteran thinks she should square off against another unexpected opponent.
ECW legend, Tommy Dreamer addressed the Rhea Ripley/Liv Morgan/Dominik Mysterio storyline on the Busted Open podcast. The veteran predicted that The Eradicator and her on-screen boyfriend, Dirty Dom, would break up. He then suggested that the two go one-on-one in an inter-gender match, with Liv in Mysterio's corner, at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
The 53-year-old pointed out that it would be a way to keep the Women's World Championship off Ripley for the time being, to allow Morgan's character to continue getting heat.
"I looked at the whole Cynna/Eddie Guerrero, which I compared this feud to a lot, which I would personally love to see Dominik Mysterio versus Rhea Ripley match at SummerSlam. And Dom go with his girl or his new girl, Liv, and it's also a way to keep the title off of Rhea. You don't have to go there right away and it continues the heat that Liv is getting," he said. Can Dominik Mysterio fix his relationship with Rhea Ripley on WWE RAW?
WWE has announced that Rhea Ripley will kick off tomorrow's episode of Monday Night RAW. Following her confrontation with Dominik Mysterio last week upon her comeback, she is expected to address their relationship.
In a recent interview with Card Subject to Change, Dirty Dom promised to fix things with Ripley this Monday on RAW while urging the WWE Universe that they would not want to miss out on what plays out.
"Monday Night Raw, you do not want to miss because of what had happened last week with Rhea and Liv. I'm gonna fix it and I'm gonna put it all to an end. Mami is gonna come back to The Judgment Day. There's gonna be no issues and it's gonna be something you guys are not gonna want to miss," he said.
WWE analyst, Sam Roberts believes The Judgment Day will split after SummerSlam, claiming Ripley and Damian Priest will side together against Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Liv Morgan. Meanwhile, he suggested Dominik Mysterio could move to SmackDown and align with Tiffany Stratton. It would be interesting to see if his prediction will come true.
