Rhea Ripley given new nickname by 36-year-old WWE star; seemingly approves it on Twitter
Rhea Ripley has responded to being given a new nickname by a 36-year-old WWE Superstar. The star in question, Naomi, now calls Rhea "Big Momma."
Ripley is one of the most popular stars in all of WWE today. She has been given a bunch of catchy nicknames by the Stamford-based promotion over the years, including Mami, The Nightmare, and The Eradicator.
WWE recently commented on Rhea Ripley's return on RAW with a post titled "Mami's home" on X/Twitter. Naomi then responded to the post and revealed that she calls Rhea "Big Momma" and not Mami. The Australian star has now responded to The Glow's tweet, making it known that she was quite happy with her new nickname given by the former SmackDown Women's Champion.

Team Rhea Ripley vs. Team Liv Morgan will be an epic spectacle to watch at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024
A massive Women's WarGames Match is now scheduled for Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Naomi, and IYO SKY will take on the team of Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae. The Eradicator will look to target Liv inside the unforgiving structure.
Ripley has previously opened up about her "Mami" moniker in an interview on Notsam Wrestling. Here's what she said about the origin of the nickname:
"I started the whole Papi thing, I got told I couldn’t be Papi, so Priest was like, 'Well, you’re Mami.' I was like, ‘Da*n straight I’m Mami. We’re going to roll with that.' The Mami thing makes me feel comfortable. I just got out there and I’m a child version of myself. I go out there, have fun, do little menace things, make fun of people. Just going out there and having fun." [H/T Fightful]
It remains to be seen which team comes out on top when the dust settles at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. A win for Liv's team would instantly make Morgan one of the strongest and dominant female stars in all of WWE.
