Rhea Ripley hilariously avoids major botch ahead of WWE event
WWE RAW star Rhea Ripley avoided disaster ahead of the SummerSlam Kickoff Show over the weekend. The 27-year-old competed for the Women's World Championship at the Premium Live Event this past Saturday night.
The promotion hosted a Kickoff Show for SummerSlam this past Friday ahead of SmackDown. Rhea Ripley made an appearance at the event ahead of her match against Liv Morgan.
A hilarious video has surfaced online of The Eradicator relying on former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest to balance herself as she struggled to get down a ramp in high heels. You can check out the humorous video in the Instagram post below.
The Judgment Day betrayed Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam. Finn Balor cost Damian Priest his World Heavyweight Championship defense against Gunther, and Dominik Mysterio helped Liv Morgan defeat Rhea Ripley to retain the Women's World Championship.
The Terror Twins (Priest and Ripley) got a measure of revenge this past Monday night on RAW before the new version of The Judgment Day retreated. The Archer of Infamy defeated JD McDonagh in a singles match but was attacked by the faction afterward. Ripley rushed to the ring for the save, and the heel group ran away.
Bill Apter praises Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley following WWE SummerSlam
Wrestling veteran Bill Apter spoke highly of the Women's World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam.
Speaking on the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted show, Apter shared that he bumped into Morgan at an airport following the show. He stated that he told the Women's World Champion that he loved her match with Ripley, and they kept everyone's attention over the weekend.
"The two of them, for an opening match, they kept everybody's attention... I said to Liv Morgan when I saw her at the airport. I said, 'You two put on a professional wrestling match.' I loved it. I thought it was a match that people were just, you know, after the show, they weren't talking about that because it was the first match but they put on a hell of a good match." [10.20 onwards]

Ripley returned to WWE RAW in July after missing several months due to injury. Only time will tell if she will get another shot at the Women's World Championship following her loss to Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam.
