Rhea Ripley injuring massive WWE star again after being medically cleared is possible, says veteran, and it's not Liv Morgan
Rhea Ripley is one of the most dominant female superstars in WWE today. Meanwhile, wrestling veteran Greg Gagne recently claimed Mami could put another top star on the shelf again after the latter reportedly recently became medically cleared to return to the ring.
The superstar in question is none other than Charlotte Flair. The Queen and The Eradicator have some history in the Stamford-based company. While Flair defeated Ripley to win the NXT Women's Championship at WrestleMania 36, the latter beat the second-generation superstar at last year's Show of Shows to capture the SmackDown Women's Title.
In the recent episode of the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, wrestling veterans Magnum T.A. and Greg Gagne discussed the possibility of the two ladies squaring off again upon The Queen's potential return to television.
Charlotte has been absent since December 2023, when she suffered multiple knee injuries during a match against Asuka on SmackDown. As the six-time RAW Women's Champion reportedly got medically cleared recently, Magnum T.A. expressed his desire to see her go head-to-head with Ripley again. Gagne then jokingly claimed The Nightmare could quickly send The Queen back on the shelf again if that happened.
"She's [Charlotte Flair] supposedly medically cleared now and, you know, gonna be popping up," Magnum said. "That could end quick if she gets in there with Rhea," Gagne responded. [25:39-25:46]
Rhea Ripley is feuding with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW
After being a part of The Judgment Day for nearly two years, Rhea Ripley was kicked out of the group after Dominik Mysterio turned on her at SummerSlam to side with Liv Morgan. The Eradicator has since been out for revenge.
Last week, Rhea Ripley joined forces with her Terror Twin, Damian Priest, to defeat the Women's World Champion and Dirty Dom in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WWE Bash in Berlin. The following Monday on RAW, she challenged Morgan for a title rematch, pointing out that she pinned the 30-year-old in the German capital. The Australian Superstar claimed she would square off against The Miracle Kid "anytime, any place."
It will be interesting to see if Mami gets another shot at the Women's World Title in the coming weeks.
