Rhea Ripley could join forces with potential new 'boyfriend,' says analyst, to fight Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio after major betrayal

Rhea Ripley is currently involved in a love triangle storyline with Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan on WWE RAW. An analyst thinks another top superstar could also get involved in the mix.

The superstar in question is Jey Uso. Last Monday on RAW, the former Bloodline member expressed his interest in dating Mami if she was no longer with Dominik Mysterio. In another backstage interview after the show, the 38-year-old said he wanted to take the former Women's World Champion out on a date to Waffle House. Meanwhile, Ripley confirmed to Jackie Redmond that Jey had her phone number, teasing a future onscreen love angle. WWE analyst, Sam Roberts now believes the two could join forces after SummerSlam.

On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, the 40-year-old suggested a scenario that would see Jey and Ripley compete together in a mixed tag team match against Morgan and Dominik after the latter potentially betrays his Mami at The Biggest Party of the Summer next month.

"I think the idea here is that you have Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan, Dominik turns on Rhea and sides with Liv Morgan, Liv Morgan beats Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam, and Dominik Mysterio runs off with Liv Morgan. It's what drives The Judgment Day apart. It drives Rhea Ripley crazy. I think that this builds to a mixed tag team match, where now it is Rhea Ripley and Jey Uso vs. Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio," he said.

Roberts pointed out that although some might argue Ripley should team up with Damian Priest, he urged them to imagine The Eradicator involved with Jey in a storyline and getting a huge pop when coming out with him during the entrance. Meanwhile, he proposed that the former Women's World Champion and Main Event Jey win the mixed tag team fight, leading to another title match between Morgan and Mami inside Hell in a Cell, with the latter finally recapturing the championship she never lost.

"Jey and Rhea win the mixed tag, maybe at Bash in Berlin and then we go on to Bad Blood. And with all this interference, with all the Jey Uso, with all the Dominik Mysterio, with all the Judgment Day, with all this stuff going on, what the one way that Rhea Ripley can be sure that she gets a fair shot at the Women's World Championship and Liv Morgan? Hell in a Cell. Wrap two tons of steel around those two women cuz if you play this out the right way and Liv Morgan is still the champion, you're gonna have people desperately wanting to see Liv and Rhea inside the Hell in a Cell. And Rhea standing tall at the end of that match I think would be incredible," he added. [1:01:38 - 1:03:42]

WWE must bring back Roman Reigns at SummerSlam if Dominik Mysterio turns on Rhea Ripley, says Sam Roberts

On the same episode of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts claimed the Stamford-based company must bring back Roman Reigns at SummerSlam if Rhea Ripley fell victim to a betrayal from Dominik Mysterio.

The WWE analyst claimed that this massive return would be needed to cool down the heat among fans as they would be extremely disgruntled with what happened to the former Women's World Champion, in case of a Dominik betrayal.

"I will say this, if Rhea Ripley loses to Liv Morgan at SummerSlam and Dominik Mysterio turns on Rhea and sticks with Liv, you better have a Roman Reigns return up your sleeve cuz the fans are going to be so mad at you. There is going to be so much heat that I don't know if we'll be able to cope," he said.

Although Dominik Mysterio has seemingly been resisting Morgan's advances and trying to win back Ripley, it would be interesting to see if he will betray his on-screen girlfriend at WWE SummerSlam and cost her the opportunity to re-capture the Women's World Championship.
