Rhea Ripley pins current champion at WWE Bash in Berlin
Rhea Ripley pinned the current Women's World Champion at WWE Bash in Berlin. The Terror Twins locked horns with The Judgment Day in a mixed-tag team match at the premium live event.
Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, the original Judgment Day members, were kicked out of the faction at SummerSlam. The stable instead sided with the Women's World Champion and The Eradicator's arch-rival, Liv Morgan, leading to the mixed-tag team match at Bash in Berlin.
Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio opened the contest for their respective teams. The Archer of Infamy got the better of his former stablemate during the early exchange before the younger Mysterio tagged in Liv Morgan. As per the rules, Rhea Ripley also tagged in and continued The Terror Twins' dominance.
The Judgment Day members got back into the contest after Liv Morgan's distraction allowed the former NXT North American Champion to get some offense in. The Women's World Champion kept getting some cheap shots in before Priest tagged in Rhea Ripley.
The Eradicator ran wild for a while and even got her hands on Dominik Mysterio. Ripley, however, got carried away as she tried to hit The Riptide onto the younger Mysterio. Morgan saved "Dirty" Dom. Just when The Terror Twins seemed to seal the deal after a back-and-forth, the rest of The Judgment Day members made their way to the squared circle.
It allowed Dominik Mysterio to hit the 619 and the splash. However, Priest kicked out at two. Morgan then tagged herself in and hit the Oblivion following a distraction from JD McDonagh. The match, however, ended with Ripley pinning Morgan after flooring the latter with a Riptide.
It will be interesting to see when The Nightmare will challenge for the Women's World Championship after pinning Morgan at the premium live event.
