Rhea Ripley reacts to Judgment Day member's major announcement

WWE RAW star Rhea Ripley has reacted to a major announcement regarding a member of The Judgment Day today on social media. The Eradicator will be challenging Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at WWE SummerSlam next month in Cleveland, Ohio.

World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest is also set to defend his title against Gunther at SummerSlam on August 3. It has also been announced that the champion will be hosting a live show on August 2 titled Damian Priest Live. It will feature the premiere screening of WWE 24: Damian Priest, as well as a discussion with Judgment Day members Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio.

Ripley took to social media today to react to the announcement with an emoji to suggest that she was holding back tears.

Liv Morgan continued to try and play mind games with Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley last night on RAW but it backfired. Mysterio claimed that he hated Morgan and the Women's World Champion broke down in tears. Ripley and Morgan will be squaring off in a title match at the Premium Live Event.

Bill Apter believes Rhea Ripley will lose at WWE SummerSlam

Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently predicted that Rhea Ripley would lose the Women's World Championship match against Liv Morgan at SummerSlam next month.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Apter claimed that Ripley was acting differently since her return to WWE RAW. He predicted the 27-year-old would come up short at the Premium Live Event and that the storyline would go on for a while.

"When Mami came back this past week... There was something different. There was something, that fever, that excitement, didn't seem the same to me as it had once she was here before. I found it very casual of her. But the fans are totally behind her. Totally behind her, and I think the confrontations between she and Liv Morgan going up to SummerSlam will get even more heated. It will be a good match. I don't see Rhea Ripley regaining the title though. I think this is gonna go on for another few months to another pay-per-view," said Apter. [6:31 onwards]

Gunther has referred to Damian Priest as "street trash" in recent weeks on WWE RAW, and the two stars brawled during last night's show. It will be fascinating to see which star walks out of SummerSlam as World Heavyweight Champion next month.
