Rhea Ripley replaced by WWE after RAW; Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest, Bayley, & more also see major updates
Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest, Bayley, Rhea Ripley, and other WWE stars have gone through some major changes at WrestleMania and since then as well, with these now being reflected by the company officially on their website.
At WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes finally defeated Roman Reigns to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion. Similarly, Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to defeat Drew McIntyre to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Judgment Day lost their tag team titles, and instead of them, Grayson Waller, Austin Theory, and Awesome Truth became the new split tag team champions.
Overall, this year has seen a lot of changes to who the top stars are in WWE. As a result, the company has had to change their renders on the site, with titles added to their renders. Noticeably, as was reported earlier, Reigns no longer has his title in his render for the first time in four years.
Similarly, Gunther, the record-breaking Intercontinental Champion is now without his title, while Sami Zayn has received the render with the title. Bayley, Cody Rhodes, and Damian Priest also received updates to their renders to ones with their titles.
Most noticeably though, it was Rhea Ripley's replacement. On WWE RAW, the star surrendered her title thanks to her injury. However, instead of keeping her as champion until a new one was crowned, WWE decided to replace her with the Vacant render. The new renders can be seen below.
WWE is yet to announce how the new Women's World Champion will be crowned after Rhea Ripley
WWE wasted no time in announcing that after Rhea Ripley had to give up her Women's World Championship, a new champion would be crowned on the upcoming WWE RAW episode.
There was no further announcement, however, on how a new champion would be decided. Fans who had been waiting for details of a new tournament to decide were left disappointed.
It appears that the company is planning to have the new champion decided without a long build. Now, it remains to be seen if the title is handed over to someone new, or if there's a match to decide it.
