Rhea Ripley's 'ex' sends a message after Mami gets married to former WWE star

Rhea Ripley recently tied the knot with former WWE Superstar Buddy Matthews. Mami's 'ex' reacted to the same with a heartbroken message.

Cathy Kelley, the RAW backstage interviewer, is close friends with many WWE Superstars. She also shares a special bond with Rhea as the two are often seen hanging together outside the squared circle. Cathy and Mami were in a kayfabe relationship before the latter shifted her focus to Samanthan Irvin, leading to Kelley famously changing her bio to "Rhea's ex." However, she is still very close to The Judgment Day member in real life.

As reported before, Rhea Ripley recently got married to AEW's Buddy Matthews. The duo have been together for a long time and got engaged in August last year. Cathy Kelley was seemingly heartbroken after the announcement and the same was reflected in her post on X (formerly Twitter).

WWE veteran believes only Rhea Ripley can save The Judgment Day from Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan has set her sights on The Judgment Day ever since putting Mami on the shelf. Morgan has been making advances on Dominik Mysterio in Rhea's absence and even helped Finn Balor and JD McDonagh win the World Tag Team Championship.

Cracks seem to be developing in The Judgment Day amid Ripley's absence and WWE veteran Bully Ray believes only Mami can bring the group back on track.

"I said from day one that Liv Morgan will not be happy until she takes everything away from Rhea Ripley. And her being the demise of The Judgment Day despite the fact that it looks like she's trying to help, at the end of the day, this is all gonna come crumpling down and it's all because of Liv Morgan, and there's only one woman who can come back and put it all together, and that's Rhea [Ripley]," he said.

There is still no word on Rhea Ripley's return. She has been out of action for over two months after suffering a shoulder injury during a backstage brawl with Liv Morgan.
