Rhea Ripley’s “ex” takes hilarious shot at Dominik Mysterio’s loyalty following WWE RAW
The WWE Universe continues to buzz over Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan following this week's RAW. The botched finish included a kiss between the two. This has been a trending topic among fans and wrestlers since it happened, and now someone close to Rhea Ripley is weighing in.
The Eradicator was forced to take time off last month due to a shoulder injury suffered while brawling with Morgan. WWE almost immediately began teasing a romantic storyline between Rhea's archnemesis and her Latino Heat, but this has not gone over well with fans of Ripley and some of her colleagues, including her "ex," Cathy Kelley.
Actor and noted wrestling fan O'Shea Jackson Jr. took to X today and tried to defend Dirty Dom over the kiss from the current Women's World Champion. Cathy responded and really made the case for how shifty the third-generation superstar really is, comparing him to very untrustworthy airport sushi.
"sir. he is less trustworthy than airport sushi," Cathy Kelley wrote.
Mysterio has not publicly responded to Kelley or any of the other critics as of this writing. Earlier, it was revealed why the company botched the kiss moment at the end of RAW.
Liv Morgan speaks on controversial WWE RAW win
The main event of this week's RAW saw Liv Morgan retain the Women's World Championship over Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage.
Morgan won the title two days before by beating Lynch at King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia. Lynch's future with World Wrestling Entertainment is up in the air due to her contract situation, but Liv is celebrating the kickoff to her second reign.
Liv has been fairly quiet on the kiss with Dominik Mysterio. However, she did make a four-word statement on the Steel Cage match, which saw Braun Strowman inadvertently knock the cage door into Lynch's head while going for Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
"By any means necessary [face with hand over mouth emoji]," Liv Morgan wrote with the photo below.
Morgan will likely defend the Women's World Championship on Saturday, June 15 at WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland. It remains to be seen who her next challenger will be.
