Rhea Ripley's "hook up" with former Tag Team Champion, not Jey Uso, would be cool, says veteran
Dominik Mysterio dumped Rhea Ripley and sided with Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam. A wrestling veteran now thinks it would be "cool" if The Eradicator ended up in another on-screen romantic relationship with a former champion.
Like Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest was betrayed by The Judgment Day at SummerSlam when Finn Balor helped Gunther end The Archer of Infamy's World Heavyweight Championship reign. Last Monday on RAW, The Eradicator and Priest brawled with the new Judgment Day, seemingly confirming that they would fight their former teammates and Liv Morgan as a united front. Wrestling veteran Konnan recently praised the storyline on the Keepin' It 100 podcast.
The WCW legend also pointed out that Ripley and the former Undisputed Tag Team Champion as a team, especially with their similarities in appearance, would be a very entertaining prospect for the WWE Universe. The whole idea seemed very cool to him if the two would even "hook up" at some point.
"I don't know if this happened a long time ago or they just ran into it, but you look at the whole faction of Judgment Day, Ripley and Priest were the two that are the most alike, you know, with the colors and the makeup and the goth and the, you know what I'm saying? And now that they're gonna be together, that's gonna be really cool, especially if somehow in there they maybe even hook up. But them together is gonna be really big. I don't know if they start their own faction or they're just going after The Judgment Day. But people really liked them when they were in the ring together," he said. [22:32 - 23:07]

WWE analyst also wants to see Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest in an on-screen romantic relationship
Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest are best friends in real life. However, WWE analyst, Peter Rosenberg recently expressed his desire to see the two become more than that on-screen.
Speaking on his Cheap Heat podcast, the former 24/7 Champion claimed an on-screen romance between the former World Heavyweight Champion and The Eradicator would be bigger than the latter's relationship with Dominik Mysterio. He also felt the two former world champions could do some exciting work together as a mixed tag team.
"If they were to then have that moment, whatever you thought was big between I think Dominik and Rhea, I think would feel even bigger at the time between Priest and Rhea. And then you could have a really awesome mixed-tag match. There's like a lot of fun things you could do there," he said.
While Jey Uso has teased pursuing Rhea Ripley, it would be interesting to see if Priest will also show interest in turning his friendship with the former Women's World Champion into a romance on-screen.
